This year our Community Art tent was going to offer you the chance to create art with our guidance. We had a collection of projects that were aimed towards different ages and abilities. Since we can't meet in person to create that art together, we would love to try guiding you through these projects from afar. Where possible, we've included online tutorials (from external sources) to help you to create these pieces of art at home.
Painted Rocks
Look for smooth rocks outside and clean them before painting, or purchase rocks (craft stores, dollar stores, etc). Use acrylic paint to design your rock, once dry spray with a clear outdoor spray coating, and it's good to go. All supplies can be found at Walmart and more designs are available on pinterest for both painting your rock and ideas on how to creatively display a collection of painted rocks.

Hand Flowers
Trace your hand onto construction paper, color in and cut out. Create two leaves in a similar manner. Attach to straws.

Her best recommendation for online canvas painting tutorials is to look through the website Step by Step Painting to find paintings that may interest you. A selection of these tutorials are shown below.
